Two immersive 360° VR productions created to bring audiences closer to the Buddhist heritage heritage, people and mission of the Sri Lanka Buddhist Heritage.
To mark the Dakshina Prabha National Vesak Festival 2026, GLOBAL360X created two immersive VR productions celebrating the history, heritage and operational spirit of the Buddhist Heritage through 360° visual storytelling.
The project was designed to go beyond conventional documentation, allowing audiences to explore Buddhist heritage heritage and experience an operational perspective through immersive virtual reality.
Through these productions, viewers can explore the Rathmalana Buddhist Heritage Museum and experience the perspective of a para-jumping mission.

Sri Lanka's Atamasthanaya represents eight historically and spiritually significant Buddhist sites associated with the island's Buddhist heritage. GLOBAL360X developed an immersive VR experience that allows visitors to explore these sacred destinations through virtual reality.
For this project, GLOBAL360X produced two VR experiences — a 360° documentary at the Rathmalana Buddhist Heritage Museum and an immersive para-jumping experience.

This project demonstrates how VR can transform the way Buddhist heritage heritage and mission experiences are shared. Museum collections and airborne perspectives can be presented not simply as footage on a screen, but as immersive experiences that place audiences inside the environment.
For GLOBAL360X, this project was an opportunity to explore how 360° technology and VR can create meaningful experiences that traditional media cannot easily reproduce.
